This time you play the role of Carl Denning, boyfriend to the reporter Robin Morales. The 11th Hour is a puzzle / adventure game that is the sequel of The 7th Guest. The game takes place 60 years after the events of the first one. So we are in 1995 and you are Carl Denning Jr., an investigative reporter for the television series "Case Unsolved." Every segment in The 11th Hour feels something akin to a porn version of Twin Peaks (except that as this is a computer game there are no really 'dirty' bits, despite the 18 rating). But the game's good, right? Er, this is the sequel to The 7th Guest, remember? The gameplay in The 11th Hour is somewhat similar to that of The 7th Guest, with a few twists to it. You will still have to explore the house and try your luck at the extremely complicated, hairpulling puzzles that the evil Stauf has conjured up, but unlike the first game, you are on a treasure hunt for items that Stauf has hidden in the mansion.
